Pound Ridge lies on the Fairfield County border where it meets the Connecticut towns of Stamford and New Canaan.  The town is known for its vast array of woods, rock outcropping and ancient stone walls.  It offers properties secluded from the hustle and bustle of city or suburban life.  For those looking to escape, Pound Ridge offers many opportunities.

The town also has historical significance, and one section of town, called The Hamlet, is an official Historic Landmark District and includes the Pound Ridge Museum and the Hiram Halle Library.  Pound Ridge is also the site of the Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, the county's largest park, with more than 4,700 acres.

The quaint shops in Scotts Corners offer convenient services to residents.  Traveling over the border the New Canaan, Connecticut, with its multiple shops and opportunities, takes only a few minutes.  The larger town of Stamford, Connecticut, is only 15 minutes away.
